{"id":684,"date":"2010-07-30T01:55:00","date_gmt":"2010-07-30T00:55:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2020-08-31T02:49:55","modified_gmt":"2020-08-31T01:49:55","slug":"hexagonal-obstacle-test","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pendidikanjasmani.com\/index.php\/2010\/07\/30\/hexagonal-obstacle-test\/","title":{"rendered":"Hexagonal Obstacle Test"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Hexagonal Obstacle Test<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p>The objective of the hexagonal obstacle test is to monitor the athlete\u2019s  agility.<br \/>Required resources<br \/>To undertake this test you will require:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> 66 cm sided hexagon marked out on the floor<\/li>\n<li> Stop watch<\/li>\n<li> Assistant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to conduct the test<\/b><br \/>The Hexagonal Obstacle Test is conducted as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The athlete stands in the middle of the hexagon, facing line A<\/li>\n<li> At all times throughout the test the athlete is to face line A<\/li>\n<li> On the command GO the watch is started and the athlete jumps with both  feet over line B and back to the middle, then over line C and back to  the middle, then line D and so on<\/li>\n<li>When the athlete jumps over line A and back to the middle this counts  as one circuit<\/li>\n<li> The athlete is to complete three circuits<\/li>\n<li> On completion of three circuits the watch is stopped and the time  recorded<\/li>\n<li> The athlete rests and then repeats the test<\/li>\n<li> On completion of the second test determine the average of the two  recorded times<\/li>\n<li> If you jump the wrong line or land on a line then the test is to be  restarted. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/pendidikanjasmani.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/hexagon-300x252.gif\" \/ class=\"ml-lightbox-enabled\"><\/div>\n<p><b>Analysis<\/b><br \/>Analysis of the result is by comparing it with the results of previous  tests.
